I started O'Hare Exteriors in 2018 with one truck, a siding brake and a nail gun I still use. Before that I spent nine years on other people's crews in Franklin Park and Norridge, and I got tired of watching good roofs get sold badly and installed worse. Here is how we work. You get a written, itemized estimate the same week, in plain English, with the shingle, the underlayment and the flashing listed by name. No sales visit with a laptop and a discount that expires tonight. The price on the paper is the price. If a deck board is rotten we show you the board before we replace it, and we charge by the sheet at the rate already on your estimate. We sweep the yard with a magnet before we leave.
